Position Summary: Hourly with full benefit package, including 401K.
SWC is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician to help with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables installs throughout large construction projects.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Pulling cat 5e/cat 6 cable in both new construction and existing construction environments
- Install J Hooks, D-rings, cable tray, and other cable supports.
- Reading blueprints and schematics
- Requirements:
- 1 years of experience in commercial cabling in a commercial environment
- Experience pulling and terminating cables.
- Ability to climb ladders and insert cable in Access Points
- Able to work from boom/scissor lifts.
- Knowledge of 70-volt paging systems is preferred but not required.
